Our current growth strategy requires significant investment in new facilities and creates the need to add to our existing Architectural team. Typical projects range from building renovations and additions to the design and construction of new office buildings and service centers. Project budgets range from $500,000 to over $20 Million.
Develop concepts for company facilities that will presented to executive management for review and decisions.
Plan, program, design, coordinate and supervise the preparation of construction documents of projects according to our business unit’s needs.
Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with detailed design documents, answering RFI’s, and reviewing shop drawings.
Prepare client presentations, studies and reports.
Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans, specifically MicroStation or AutoCAD.
Perform services associated with the bidding process including preparing bid documents, generating bidders list, reviewing bids, assisting in the selection of the winning construction firm and preparing contracts.
Minimum Requirements for Project Architect:
Education: Bachelor’s in Architecture in a program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
Experience: We are accepting recent graduates interested in becoming a fully licensed Architect as well as licensed Architects with experience in the practice of Architecture.
Licenses/Certifications: If a certified Architect, provide information on licenses in any U.S. state and NCARB certification or demonstrate ability to gain NCARB certification.
Incumbent is accountable for making sound recommendations and decisions that have an impact across organizational boundaries. Incumbent has no authority to commit Company assets or approve expenditures unless so authorized in accordance with approved Company procedure.
Depending upon assignment, position may entail some travel and exposure to situations which require the knowledge, understanding and adherence to applicable safety procedures.
May require extended hours to accomplish assigned tasks to meet requirements and schedules.
Demonstrates vision in identifying business opportunities for the organizational unit.
