The EPIC Resolute HB Application Analyst plays a very important role in a high risk position. Responsible for making sure that all the functions of HB Resolute are accomplished daily (electronic and paper bills, cash posting, import and export functions, etc.) Provide technical expertise and direction in the analysis, design, build, and support of the EPIC Resolute HB application. Troubleshoot assigned EPIC Resolute HB application related issues and document resolution. Also responsible for oversight of the Enterprise Coding workflows and 3M in EPIC. Work with the Revenue Cycle implementation team and vendor during application fixes, upgrades and new releases.
1. System Analysis and Design: Participates and directs the system design, build, validation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Resolute HB application. Thoroughly documents and understands Patient Business Services business processes and how Resolute HB supports these processes. Work with PBS to make design recommendations to meet requirements and schedules. Develop and review technical specifications for acquisition decisions. Perform both unit and integrated testing including developing testing scripts, documentation of testing and resolution of issues. Perform testing of Special Updates, Interim Updates, and upgrades to new releases prior to implementation. Perform build in production environments. Oversees the Enterprise Coding workflows and 3M in Epic.
2. Problem Resolution: Respond to customer problems. Communicate and document problem progress and resolution. Analyze problems to determine if it is necessary to resolve, if needed escalate it to Epic project leadership. Communicate with Epic project leadership on the prioritization of trouble ticket resolutions to meet OHSU needs. When needed, work directly with Epic (Madison Based Staff) on resolution of issues.
3. Application Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance and/or build for the following Resolute HB profiles Hospital System Definition Profile (HSD) Payer Master File (EPM) Plan Master File (EPP) Group Master File (GPN) Claim Definition File (CDF) Charge review work queues (BWQ) Account work queues (BWQ) Claim edit WQ (BWQ) Security Classes (ECL) set up and maintain for PBS User security (EMP) logins for PBS staff Provider Maser File (SER) Procedure Master File (EAP) Facility/Service Area (EAF) Component/Component Groups (CMP/CMG) Extract Editor build (HGX) Reporting Workbench (HRX) Batch Scheduling maintenance Forms build CEV and Smart forms (ABF,FDF, ETX) Remittance build (RMO/RMC)4 Leadership: Prepare and present lessons to Epic team and Management with goal of training issues, reviewing solutions and advocating for standardization. Assist with integration of all teams. Responsible for representing HB issues at the RCCM meeting. Maintain Resolute HB application certifications by completing New Version training on the required schedule. Attend computer related classes to manage assigned projects. Masters degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and four years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
Bachelors degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
Associates degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associates degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
