Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a structural engineer. This position includes preparing structural analysis, designs and calculations for new and renovated building structures for aviation, federal, and industrial clients; preparing construction documents; and assisting project managers to carry out project assignments.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or structural engineering and at least four years of relevant engineering experience (buildings related).
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following; experience designing and detailing steel, poured in place concrete, plain and reinforced masonry, precast concrete, tilt-up concrete, and heavy timber structural building systems; experience with seismic design; knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to building design and construction; experience with RAM and/or RISA structural analysis software; experience with Revit; California PE license; SE license.
