Job Title: Supervisor of Construction Administration Location: US-MD-
Overview: We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Construction Administration to be responsible for Contract Administration, Budgeting and Accounting for major projects in our client's Mid-Atlantic region. The focus will be on redevelopment and capital expenditures within our CTI based job cost system. The position requires communication, both internally and externally, with vendors, tenants, company partners and various departments within the company. Responsibilities will include: review of documentation for compliance; collaboration among the teams as the work relates to leasing, legal and accounting within the region; gathering documentation and seeking reimbursements from tenants and company partnerships with respect to development projects; providing information on outstanding costs related to projects slated for disposition; providing assistance to the Vice President, Acquisitions & Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage existing Contract Administration team * Oversee management of construction and development budgets * Review monthly pay requisitions from lenders or partners * Review and approve all CTI job cost budgets * Review and approve all CTI contracts and change orders * Review and approve specific project invoices for payment * Review specific job cost reimbursements to the tenants and partners * Review contract status reports * Review TI allowance and review for compliance with lease * Run specific Crystal reports for Financial Assistants, review for errors, and assess which budgets can be closed * Audit monthly requests, project status and outstanding budgets
Responsibilities: * Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or other business related field * Prior experience in commercial real estate accounting or construction administration * Accounting experience working for a General Contractor preferred * Proficiency in MS Excel (inclusive of functions, formulas and v-lookups), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn other internal systems * Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks and multi-task
Bachelors in Accounting or other business field, prior experience in commercial real estate accounting or construction administration
