A privately held real estate company, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, is seeking applications for a Part Time Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager.
The company manages owned and third party neighborhood centers as well as office properties and office/warehouse facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assists Property Manager in all operational aspects of a property including, but not limited to: maintenance, utility monitoring, Tenant and Capital Improvements, tenant relations, billing and collection, vendor contracts and relations, lease administration and budgeting. •Corresponds with tenants and vendors as necessary •Assists with day-to-day supervision of maintenance, security and vendors •Assist in Lease preparations •Assist in scheduling regular property inspections •Assist with maintaining tenant insurance certificates •Monitors delinquencies, contact tenants to collect past due balances and prepare default letters under the instruction of the Property Manager •Prepare monthly rent statements to the tenants •Assist in annual budget preparation •Assists with monthly reporting packages •Provides support to Property Manager, Leasing and Accounting to insure proper operation of all properties •Other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: •Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other operating systems •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Yardi experience preferred, but will train •Detail oriented •Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while working in a fast paced environment
