Summary: Accountable for all administrative duties related to future and ongoing construction projects and provides any additional support to the construction team
Essential duties and responsibilities:
•Writes contracts and change orders for construction projects •Tracks and reports on jobs in progress •Monitors all construction-related permits •Contacts utility companies to obtain services •Reviews and processes construction billings •Maintains all construction spreadsheets •Scans and files all construction and billing plans •Performs other administrative duties as assigned
Required skills and experience:
•Three years administrative experience •Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word •Self-directed with strong organization skills •Strong team player with strong interpersonal skills •Basic construction knowledge •Excellent customer service skills and written and verbal communication skills •Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-demand, deadline-driven environment •Ability to understand and navigate data system efficiently
Valued but not required skills and experience:
•Bachelor’s degree •Experience working with Yardi

Physical demands: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Attendance: Regular attendance in the Indianapolis office is essential to the company’s efficient operation and is a necessary condition of employment.
