The Specialty Leasing Representative will be based in our Northbrook regional office and will report to the Vice President, Specialty Leasing. The main function of this role will be to expand the non-recurring revenues in the region including the sourcing of common area events and short term in line leasing activity. Travel will be required.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
•Perform all specialty leasing activities including market analysis, sourcing new tenants, negotiating lease parameters, lease analysis and closing lease transactions •Negotiate and complete lease renewals •Develop networks; establish tenant, broker and owner relationships. •Thoroughly understand demographics, traffic patterns and market trends •Be knowledgeable of the specialty leasing activity within the competing shopping centers •Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. •Sales experience in real estate or related field a plus. •Requires ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once. •Self-starter. Able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment. •Ability to understand a situation and creatively, logically strategize alternatives and determine a course of action. •Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management skills are all required competencies. •Strong mathematical skills required to perform financial calculations •Reliable, on-time attendance •Perform other related duties as assigned
•An undergraduate degree •3 to 5 years in specialty leasing either mall or open air centers. •Proven Track record •Experience in Canvassing and Cold Calling
