The successful candidate will work closely with the client's senior leadership to manage, coordinate and control all activities with site preparation and installation of an Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility (ISFSI) on the owners property. There will be multiple site preparation activities, including:
Storage building construction
Power distribution modifications
Haul road design and construction
Spent fuel cask handling crane modifications
Oversite and facilitation of the selected ISFSI vendor activities
This person will be stationed on-site at the facility and work with Station personnel as well as contract companies to accomplish the project. There will be some traveling to various vender premises for manufacturing oversight and FAT.
This is a long term assignment 2-3 years.
This position requires verifiable ISFSI installation experience in a leadership capacity.
An engineering degree is a plus, with detailed knowledge of nuclear civil engineering standards being preferred.
PMP Certification is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple nuclear sub-project activities is required
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with senior managers, supervisors and other station personnel, and venders is required.
Must be able to be badged at a US nuclear facility.
Additional Salary Information: Salary will be negotiated, based on experience. Per diem will be offered to qualified applicant.
