Facilities Planning and Management’s division of Construction Services is seeking qualified candidates for a Manager for Contract Administration who will provide direction and leadership of the Contract Administration unit. The Manager for Contract Administration reports to the Director for Construction Services and is responsible for management of contract and approval processes for University capital projects. The position will interface with the University Administration and Board of Regents staff on construction contracts, project budgets, and Board of Regents reporting related matters and for implementing policies and procedures to assure compliance with the legal, ethical, and statutory requirements of the capital project process.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively work independently as well as in a team environment. The candidate will possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience working with public sector design and construction projects; - Experience in public sector contract administration; - Experience supervising people.
