High end, custom window and door manufacturer is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to service and develop customers in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and the panhandle of Florida. Responsibilities include: 1.Work with existing customer base to establish growth of entire product offering. 2.Launch new customers in market area which is assigned. This is to be done with guidance from the Director and Vice President of Sales. 3.Represent manufacturer by attending customer shows at customer’s request. 4.Represent manufacturer by attending regional and potentially national shows at manufacturer’s request. 5.Perform training seminars on product and service related issues for customers, builders, and architects. 6.Manage accounts in accordance with all governing factors found in Basic Policy Guidelines Book. 7.Travel with customer sales personnel, making builder and architectural calls. 8.Produce weekly sales call reports with emphasis on local customer performance, trends. and the competitive environment. 9.Develop a written yearly business plan with each customer with the objective of promoting and growing local business. 10.Generate new business for customers by making sales calls on builders and architects with the intention of generating “pull through” business for local customer. 11.Inspect and review service situations to help determine a resolution that is fair to both the customer and manufacturer.
1.Must have a minimum of three years industry related experience. Desired industry experience from a manufacturing or distribution environment. 2.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to motivate others. 3.Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good organizational skills. 4.Must be able to deliver presentations to a variety of different audiences.
