Reporting to the EVP/Chief Operating Officer, this position will be responsible for managing significant projects related to software implementation technology, strategic change management, new process implementation, tool implementation, process re-engineering, and establishment of control procedures.
Program/Project management and business analysis responsibilities will be required to monitor and ensure completion of projects on schedule and budget. A strong background in technology, quantitative analytics and project management is required.
Provide business analysis for complete project lifecycle of medium and large projects with minimal supervision. Partner with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and approval for proposals.
Elicit business requirements using various methodologies (e.g. interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, workflow analysis, etc.).
Evaluate user needs and business systems to determine issues and translate resolution into application and operational requirements.
Define Project Charter (e.g. project objectives, scope and deliverables) and validate alignment with business and system strategies. Guide internal tracking of projects including planning, contract execution, prioritization of deliverables, and implementation.
Create estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects and maintain responsibility for managing against these estimates. Also, serve as liaison to division leaders, internal staff, and external parties to maintain project time and cost goals.
Identify project issues through risk analysis of existing and proposed processes, and develop and implement constructive solutions and/or enhancements. Ensure escalation where appropriate.
Manage, reconcile, and code external IT vendor and third party billing invoices.
Track IT-related inventory. Manage equipment purchases and procure installation services as needed. Liaise with Office Coordinator for delivery of equipment to ensure building access protocols are upheld.
Ensure security of physical equipment located in IT Room, including periodic review of equipment logout sheet.
Develop and manage communications plans supporting the project; including but not limited, to status reports, management of issues and risks.
Gather ideas from staff to analyze existing work practices through systematic process mapping and present sustainable solutions to meet organizational target goals.
Prepare operational manuals and procedure manuals to assist staff in operating more efficiently and effectively, to include development and implementation of a document management system to track, manage, and store documents to reduce the flow of paper within the organization.
Represent Invest Atlanta in monthly meetings with the City of Atlanta IT Governance group to discuss new and existing technology investments and projects.
Identify industry best practices and innovations in project management as related to economic and community development.
Manage all technical aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes. Duties to include coordination with Hiring Managers to determine if specialty equipment and/or software required.
Design Enterprise Framework and architecture, technician architecture and security architecture.
Manage organization’s IT Licenses and make renewal/termination recommendations as needed and other duties as assigned.

Major component of this role is to develop and implement the CRM system.
Excellent written communication skills, to include process flowcharting, and formal business solutions documents and verbal communication skills, to include presentation skills and interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate, influence, and build relationships at all levels within the organization. This includes relationship management of key stakeholders and senior managers.
Knowledge of principles of negotiation, influencing and conflict management.
Structured, disciplined approach to work and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience managing projects including responsibility for the whole project life cycle.
Experience in requirements gathering and business analysis.
Proficient user of the Microsoft suite of products, including Excel, Visio, Project, Office, SharePoint and Power BI.
