Construction Inspector / Project Manager (Residential)

Complete projects in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining high quality
Source contractors and vendors, and oversee the contractors
Test all systems and functions of the homes to make sure they work properly.
Perform Quality Control inspections for health/Safety, function ability, aesthetics
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with established completion requirements
Confirm that completed projects meet Vinebrook standards
Must be attentive to detail and to potentially foresee future possible problems
Adherence to budgets, schedules, and our standards is paramount. Quality control and production must go hand in hand. You need to have the ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, build consensus, anticipate roadblocks, and work in a team environment. Must be highly organized, computer savvy, have a willingness to learn and not be afraid to get your hands dirty. A strong attention to detail and thoroughness is a must.
Impeccable ethics and integrity required
3-5 years single family construction and or home inspection experience
Construction management background desired
Strong knowledge of construction practices and sequencing
Experience pulling permits and dealing with building officials
Strong attention to detail
Must be competent and comfortable with technology
Strong financial acumen
Ability to multi-task and balance many simultaneous projects
Willingness to learn
Ability to operate effectively given defined object
Willingness and ability to work in ALL types of weather
Associate or bachelor degree in construction management or related field preferred but not required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position.
Local travel within MSA.
Valid driver's license.
Pass a Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen, Credit, and Criminal Background Check
Possess basic tools for the job.
