This 6 month fixed duration assignment will focus on project close out working closely with accounting staff and the Capital Program Department to complete billings and various project management reports (backlog, forecast, jobs in progress). Analyzes open commitments at closeout and follows up with sub/vendor to ensure no further costs are owed before closing project. Reconciles financial statements to ensure compliance with budgetary parameters and guidelines.

Required Skill/ability 1: Proven ability in the Construction industry and working with construction documents. Proven experience with contract change orders, insurance requirements (OCIPS, CCIPS). Understanding of billings methods including AIA draws, lump sums, unit rate and cost, reimbursable/time & material.
Required Skill/ability 2: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills, especially with Excel.
Required Skill/ability 3: Demonstrated knowledge of basic procurement and construction administration tasks such as bidding procedures, schedule for values tracking, invoice processing, change directive and change order processing, substantial completion and close out procedures.
Required Skill/ability 4: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual.
Required Skill/ability 5: Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
