M3 Technology Group is currently looking for several Experienced Low Voltage/Network Cable Technicians to provide field installation services for our Commercial Structured Cabling division to customers in the greater Nashville TN area, Chattanooga and Knoxville region, as well as some out of state work (Southern US).
These are boots-on-the-ground positions for construction-oriented technology deployment. APPLICANTS NEED RELEVANT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
Candidates should be technically adept and dependable self-starters, with experience in all facets of structured cabling infrastructure, telephony systems, CCTV equipment and on-site project management. Top candidates will also bring an exceptional customer-first attitude to every aspect of his/her work. There is opportunity for growth as well as team leadership roles with experienced candidates.
LVC Technicians will work out of M3’s Nashville TN headquarters, our Knoxville branch, and will also have regional and out of state travel based upon project locations, including short-term project deployments at times.

Specific Duties Include (but not limited to):
Structured cabling installation, all media, in new and existing buildings
Ability to understand and follow base building and electrical blueprints
Lead and manage installation crew efficiently to maximize profitability
Testing, troubleshooting, and documenting cable installations and telephony systems
Build out of Telecom and Equipment rooms
Adherence to BICSI standards, NEC, and local codes
Interface with customer contacts in a professional manner
Maintain updated documentation of current projects, labor hours, material, etc.
Report any project changes, issues, or concerns to assigned contacts
Conduct site surveys
Attend project planning and progress meetings as needed
1-3 years of structured cabling installation experience preferred
BICSI and manufacturer certifications a plus, but not required
Ability to install, test, and terminate copper and fiber cable
Experience in leading crews and working multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills
Valid driver’s license
Be able to pass drug screen and background check
Regular regional travel is required, using company service vehicles
