SALARY RANGE: $32.91 - $45.19 Per Hour
JOB TYPE: AFSCME union represented Functions/Duties of Position This position exists within the Facilities Management Department of OHSU, and serves to design, write, and maintain computer programs for the proprietary computer systems and campus-wide networked systems used by Facilities Management for life safety, energy management, and building systems automation. The incumbent serves as system administrator over these campus-wide networks and heads up a team of specialized programmers who maintain the daily operations of these systems, including, HVAC control systems and campus-wide energy monitoring/metering systems. Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
At least 3 years of experience with building controls systems performing modification, adaptations, construction and design work of an intricate nature. OR Equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience must include one year of programming experience.
Must have basic computer skills and a general familiarization with MS Office applications and internet browsers.
Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to OHSU. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Formal training in management and communications
At least 4 years leading teams of technicians in installation and/or maintenance of CPU based Building Automation systems.
At least 4 years technical support of installations of Building Automation system networks.
Basic familiarity with AutoCAD.
