PeaceHealth is hiring for a Strategic Communications Lead!
The Strategic Communications Lead works hand-in-hand with Client Engagement to ensure assignments are aligned with talents of individual team members, ultimately resulting in the efficient achievement of project goals and objectives. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines met and service excellence provided in all aspects of work. Subject matter expert. Works with department leadership to assure that team members have a broad skill set and a “deep bench” of talent capable of providing support for assigned key service areas.
Assign work; plan and manage priorities, provide technical assistance, oversee staff schedules, monitor quality of work, monitor team projects, mentor staff, provide constructive feedback, oversee staff training, ensure quality improvement, provide leadership feedback on staff performance, and assist with goal setting for the team.
Responsible for leading all project assignments of strategic communications team. Attends Creative Review to assure appropriate team talent is assigned to respective projects based on skill and talent.
Collaborates with Client Engagement to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner and assists with communication needs to clients when changes are necessary.
Works with department leadership to conduct ongoing assessment of strategic communications skill sets as well as evolving organizational needs. Identifies and leads planning efforts for professional development needs of the strategic communications team.
Minimum 1 year experience as a strategic communications specialist or equivalent level role.
Minimum 5 years of communications or marketing experience.
Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a healthcare is preferred.
Experience with Visio and MS Project is preferred
