The Administrative Services Assistant Senior position is a key member of the business office and reports to the Capital Construction Business Officer. The position performs high level support for the CPMD Business Office and the CPMD Capital Construction Director. Business support includes procurement, reimbursements, payables, reporting, budget tracking, and billable time processing. Also manages and tracks the issuance of Per Diem contracts, as well as Per Diem payments, for Architects and Engineers. Oversees the biennial Per Diem RFP & award process. Administrative support includes filing, scheduling, distribution of department information, preparation of correspondence and reports, travel coordination, and reception of incoming phone calls or visitors.
Performs special projects as assigned or required by the Capital Construction Business Officer and/or Capital Construction Director as well as unanticipated duties and responsibilities necessary for the job position.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, high initiative, and attention to detail. We are seeking an adaptable individual with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. In addition, MS Windows/Office Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), SAP, accounting skills, and knowledge of UK Business Procedures and Processes is preferred.
