The Facilities/Property Manager will manage and coordinate the activities of facilities support for approximately 36 building structures, throughout the 165+ acre OHSU West campus. Direct all facilities and properties operations to ensure facilities and services meet the needs of building occupants in an efficient, economical, and safe fashion; responsible for administrative, financial, and planning functions; supervise staff involved in maintaining, repairing and remodeling institutional facilities and properties; supervise staff responsible for the campus sustainability program, custodial services, and campus security; manage and coordinate the activities of design professionals and construction contractors to ensure projects are completed within time, cost, and quality constraints; develop project plans including time schedules and procedures; assist in the bidding process and participate in the review and recommendation of the award of construction contracts; monitor the progress and performance of projects, resolve schedule issues, approve project scope changes, and budget issues; participate in the West Campus Operations Committee, the West Campus Emergency Management Committee and the West Campus Policy Committee; act as a liaison to OHSU main campus facilities to coordinate operations and projects involving both campuses; actively participate in the OHSU capital planning process; provide technical assistance with all campus infrastructure reviews and decisions, including the development of the Campus Master Plan.
