The Director for Project Management leads, directs and manages construction and renovation projects, and assists the Director of Capital Project with the capital budgeting. S/he reports to and works with the Associated Vice President for Facilities, Engineering and Planning to carry out the mission and vision of the department. This includes managing the day to day operations for the Project Management group relative to new construction and renovation projects; leading directing and motivating his/her staff to successfully achieve the department's strategic goals and objectives; and, serving as a liaison with the university community and external constituents within the Texas Medical Center and across the City of Houston.
