SAFEbuilt is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to support the overall goals and objectives of the Accounting department. Candidate should have strong experience with fleet, facilities and purchasing as well as good organizational and time management skills. You will be part of a highly professional accounting team in our corporate office in Loveland, Colorado. This position reports directly to the CFO and has one direct report.
Leads cross-functional teams to strategically select products and suppliers while ensuring the best possible price, quality, service, overall terms, and compliance with Company’s and customers’ policies and procedures. Continually pursues opportunities to reduce costs, minimize risk and improve business conditions
Update, develop, implement and lead underlying policies and procedures
Negotiate complex contracts, terms and relationships with vendors and suppliers, including the use of RFP/RFI/RFQ processes
Leasing, acquisition, and disposal of vehicles and fixed assets
Leasing and optimization of field, headquarters and acquisition buildings and offices in a multi-location environment
Develop Procurement scorecard and benchmarks. Proactively engages with internal purchasers to coordinate and improve supplier performance and financial stability, purchasing process and controls, fleet reporting/maintenance/mileage analysis, and facility costs
Manage a Fleet Coordinator

Knowledge and Skills:
Proven working experience as a procurement manager or head of procurement; exposure to supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement techniques
In-depth knowledge and understanding of contract terms and conditions. Strong negotiating skills with the ability to adapt and improvise
Ability to motivate and supervise department … and others
Understanding of the P2P process and ability to identify appropriate solutions for spend categories
Customer-centric focus and willingness to be collaborative when constructing and applying policies and procedures
Experience with standard Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint – and ability to learn new software products and tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be self-motivated, flexible, open to change and have strong leadership capabilities
Education & Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
Strong experience will be accepted in lieu of some educational requirements
5+ years of experience in Procurement
Exposure to business services and/or construction is a plus
