This position will work under the direction and leadership of the Executive Director for the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation (RCAF). In addition, the position will work cooperatively with university Development Officers in a coordinated effort to achieve the University of Louisiana’s fund raising goals, manage the day-to-day activities of the annual fundraising campaign; be responsible for all social media and website coordination. The development professional is expected to partner effectively with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics coaches and leadership, as well as volunteers, will serve as a leader within the athletic development operation, advising and assisting in all aspects of strategic planning, goal setting, and operations while fulfilling a vision of excellence for RCAF. This dynamic and successful individual will work to significantly increase the level of philanthropic support from private donors. Engage in discovery, cultivation, solicitation while closing gifts and moving investors from one donation level to another.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Donor benefit fulfillment for all areas within the RCAF Annual Fund giving levels.
Track donor renewals, lapsed donors, acknowledgments, retention rates, etc.
Responsible for all donors parking and tailgating at Football, M&W Basketball, Baseball and Softball.
RCAF branding initiatives including brochure construction and design, online videos, etc.
Ticket and credential design for all premium areas requiring an RCAF donation.
Monitor & maintain Athletics Gifts-in-Kind.
Liaison to RCAF Priority Points System.
Responsible for RCAF website and social media content and accuracy.
Construction of a monthly RCAF E-Newsletter.
Develop new sources for fund raising and revenue, including increases in annual giving from current donors and future prospects.
Conduct mini-campaigns focusing on engaged segments (vendor campaign, faculty and staff, parents of student-athletes, etc.).
Create and review reports that assist in the identification of prospects and the stewardship of current donors.
Attend RCAF Board meetings when applicable.
Assist in facilitating events/receptions that serve as cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship opportunities.
Work closely with current head coaches on sport-restricted giving accounts and clubs, as well as the cultivation process of current student-athletes for future giving.
Collaborates and provides direction for special events when needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of RCAF and/or Athletic Director.
Work in a coordinated and collaborative effort the University Development Staff regarding identification, stewardship, and proposal development when necessary as well as, identify, solicit, and cultivate benefactors for annual gifts for athletics ($100-$25,000).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of development/fundraising concepts and techniques, especially athletic fundraising.
Knowledge of NCAA athletic program.
Knowledge and experience with Ticketmaster ticketing software

Demonstrate the aptitude to represent the University in a highly professional and effective manner.
This position involves travel and will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to professionally represent RCAF and the UL Foundation.
Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s preferred. 1-2 years of philanthropic fundraising experience, preferably in a higher education setting or similar non-profit organization. Intercollegiate athletic fundraising experience preferred.
