As a Product Consultant for Optum Payment Integrity you will be focused on process modeling, improving end to end process, working with IT to implement process into technology and managing current BPM (Business Process Management) application roadmaps. We need self-starter who can work in a virtual environment and likes to have fun while performing at a high level for our customers. Primary Responsibilities: Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirementsLeads process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activitiesDefine process architecture techniques. Model and capture all aspects of business processes using established modeling standardsFacilitate regular process discovery sessions across analytic areas and business partnersQuickly whiteboard high - level business process requirements using modeling notationsCreate mock - ups of business processes and user interfaces to quickly validate proposed functionalityDevelop the capability to auto-generate process requirements from modelsValidate benefits and identify potential bottlenecks of process improvements prior to implementingModel process scenarios based on historical process information Utilize tools that automatically construct end-to-end process modelsNavigate and influence multiple cross - functional teams in a complex, matrix work environmentManage cross-segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzingResponsible for the design, development, management or sunsetting of new and existing BPM applications Work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction or respond to product inquiries
Required Qualifications:5+ years of using process modeling techniques (BPMN - Business Process Model and Notation, UML - Unified Modeling Language, Flowchart, etc.) to document business processes with advanced software (Erwin, Visio, etc.) 5+ years of experience in writing business and / or system requirements for business process management systems 4+ years of product management / product development experience4+ years working within Agile teams using Scrum or other Agile methodologiesPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare experience Previous experience with SQLSix Sigma / Lean CertificationsVendor software implementation experienceCareers with Optum.
