This position will manage various capital projects, facilities management escalations, and energy management under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities and Energy. This position will manage the processes, including providing services to stores and budgetary reporting. Additional responsibilities include vendor management as well as managing any related programs or initiatives. This position will also support the Facilities Specialist as needed to ensure timeliness and quality solutions are being provided to our stores.
Assist Facilities Supervisor with emergency calls(which may occur 24 hrs/7 days), escalations, and daily transactions as needed to ensure quality and prompt repairs are being delivered to our stores
Assist Facilities Supervisor with landlord interaction and communicate with Real Estate team for documentation
Manage 3rd party store inspection process
Identify, plan, and execute capital projects
Identify capital projects through store inspections, store wish lists, and vendor recommendations
May require frequent on site inspections
Manage execution of capital projects in coordination with Construction Dept. who will execute larger scale projects
Maintain and report CapEx budgets on a regular basis
Expense budget reporting and management
Work closely with Facilities Supervisor and Director of Facilities & Energy to ensure vendor compliance with company’s goals and standards
Perform quarterly reviews with primary vendors to discuss performance and opportunities
ENERGY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform initial triage when stores have energy management issues/complaints
Ensure Energy Management systems are in good working order
Maintain company set points/schedules
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Facilities Management experience required.
Energy Management and/or Utilities experience preferred.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass pre-employment background check including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
Travel required including air and car travel
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a construction site environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Store Support Center Associates
Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.
Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
