And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Optum Health Payer Market Client Management Leader for OptumHealth / CSG solutions. This role serves as dedicated Payer OptumHealth Client Management Pillar Leader in recent realignment from the central Growth Office to OptumHealth. This role will manage and coach a team of Payer Client Managers (approximately 7) accountable for renewals, retention, NPS® / client loyalty and growth of their book of business. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Delivery of products and services across the OptumHealth CSG services in a dynamic service environment that may include behavioral health, physical health, transplant, oncology, or related solutions. Oversee revenue and margin retention and growth Oversees the client assignments and client performance within their pillar group. Manages overall performance through use of data, tracking and reporting Oversees EDGE plans and test and improve sessions to ensure achievement of growth, customer retention. Directs and manages client level business plans and opportunity plans for assigned book of business Recruits, hires and monitors performance of CM staff, ensuring appropriate training and development is provided to newly hired employees; provide ongoing training of CM staff Works closely with CSG Business Units on strategic client initiatives, risk, retention, and growth Builds and maintains key client relationships across the Business Unit Effectively manages escalated client situations to a positive result, anticipating problems, working with key internal constituents, and developing contingency plans, including leading Monthly Risk Meetings with the Business Unit leads, CM and cross functional teams Develop and maintain key internal and matrix relationships Provide Market Feedback to Business Unit to constructively communicate the need for improvements or enhancements in products and services offered to clients Understands and communicate goals, operating principles, strategies and competitive position Participates directly in key large sales opportunities and/or JOC and renewal or retention meetings Collaborates with peers on a regular basis to establish best practices, consistency where appropriate, and accomplishment of overall business goals and objectives Regularly engages leadership in business planning sessions
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field 10+ Years progressive health services, behavioral health or related experience 10+ years Healthcare client management experience 5+ Years progressive management experience, including the ability to recruit, hire and develop staff Possesses solid knowledge of health care services and financial approaches Proven success in dealing with channels / consultants and sophisticated payer customersPreferred Qualifications:MBA or equivalent Careers with Optum.
