Part Time; Partial Year Career Minimum Starting Salary: $18.47/hourly.

Under supervision of the Costume Shop Manager, the incumbent's responsibilities will include: construction of costumes using skilled pattern making techniques; performing tailoring and dressmaking tasks; performing costume craft and other assigned projects using independent judgment and ingenuity.
When requested incumbent will supervise and assist students and student staff as they construct costumes, perform shop maintenance and execute wardrobe preparation assignments fro productions.
Excellent Sewing Ability. Both machine sewing and hand finishing, with a particular specialty in costuming.
Ability to construct all manner of costumes from designer sketches.
Mathematical skills Sufficient to alter and draft patterns.
Proven ability to work quickly under pressure of deadlines.
Clear communication skills. Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
