Dunwoody is in search of a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for the administrative and business systems on campus, and for coordinating the support of related external systems that interface with them. As a member of the IT department, you will manage the daily operations of information technology enterprise systems and software resources. You will be responsible for creating an environment that ensures the security and data integrity of the information of the College as well as collaborating with internal customers to deliver enterprise systems and software necessary for the college to conduct business and ensuring the support of said systems. This position is integral in developing the College’s technology plan.
Directs the activities of the outsourced support personnel providing continued maintenance and growth of the campus enterprise systems.
Assists with planning the budget for projects and expenditures related to administrative systems.
Prioritizes and manages administrative system projects in line with campus needs.
Coordinates with administrative system vendors to ensure that professional staff training needs are met.
Leads in the role of education and information sharing among departments on campus.
Serves as liaison to the campus regarding enterprise system offerings.
Ensures that the administrative IT department’s goals, projects, and objectives are in line and helps fulfill the educational mission and business operational needs of the college.
Analyze professional staff requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing system, and assigns these projects to the Systems Analysts as required.
Responsible for the ERP (Powercampus) system including the databases, applications, user accounts, security, web, and graphical user interfaces, coordinating all system patches and upgrades.
Monitors system backups of the ERP servers and related databases to ensure disaster recovery and business continuance of the university’s administrative systems is met.
Assists in developing and implementing the information technology strategic and tactical plans
Participate in and sometimes lead negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure hardware, software, support, and other professional services
Develop IT infrastructure strategy and long term planning based on institutional objectives
Establish, implement, and administrate change management procedures for enterprise systems
Manage documentation of IT standard operating procedures and network/system diagrams for the institution
Collaborate with rest of IT to enhance IT services for the Dunwoody community
Contribute to Dunwoody College of Technology team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned by the CIO

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years IT experience.
Ability to communicate well with diverse user groups.
Proven ability to lead and develop staff, provide career planning, development, and performance feedback to staff.
Working knowledge of various client server applications and database applications including SQL.
Ability to work 40 hours per week.
