TheNational Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is looking for a motion graphics designer and video editor to complement our talented team of designers, writers and artists, and to enhance the NAM’s daily in-house video and creative content program. This is a chance to help tell stories, shape the brand DNA and design for the largest manufacturing association in the country, representing many of the most innovative and tech-leading companies in the world—companies such as Boeing, Pfizer, Nike, Harley Davidson, Intel, Microsoft and General Electric.
The motion graphics designer and video editor will be responsible creating detailed graphics for NAM videos, digital properties and events and for helping to manage the day-to-day operations of the NAM’s video lab. In this role, the incumbent will ensure the brand voice is clearly visible throughout our video products and other creative content products while adhering to deadlines. The ideal candidate has considerable experience with motion graphics (2d/3d animation), typography and design; of video editing, related applications and workflow; and of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premier and Final Cut; command of SD and HD formats and digital spot delivery methods, including encoding, transcoding and compressing; and a proficiency in editing web videos and creating motion effects. A background in politics or sports productions is a plus.

Conceptualizing and creating motion graphics projects and storyboards.
Designing 2D and 3D graphics.
Designing animated videos.
Editing raw footage and then adding effects/elements to enhance with motion graphics.
Help set and articulate the brand DNA with attention to voice, tone, look and feel.
Perform video and photograph editing and animate graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premier and Final Cut.
Edit both short- and long-form videos from start to finish and create graphics for these videos.
Deliver all video and audio elements to technical requirements.
Contribute to creative solutions, design and executive motion graphics treatments.
Maintain the archive library of dynamic, engaging b-roll content.
Collaborate across multiple teams to drive projects to completion.
Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
We are looking for Team Players who meet the Following Criteria:
Deep experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premier and Final Cut; experience with Cinema 4D is a plus.
Ability to conceptualize, design and transform scripts and visualizations into fluid, highly effective motion graphic animations and video production.
Strong sense of design with the ability to develop and execute creative ideas on all areas of video.
Must be comfortable working with, and communicating with producers in and out of the studio
Organized multi-tasker, self-motivated and quick problem solver who can work comfortably with multiple projects at different stages in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Possess solid presentation, listening and communication skills. Must be able to collaborate effectively with internal and external clients.
Ability to work with teammates for constructive feedback and creative input while offering solutions to problems that arise.
Proactive in bringing new technology, processes and techniques to the "creative table" to ensure maximum use of our in-house studio as well as shoots in the field.
