Procurement Agents play a pivotal role in developing, managing, integrating and improving Boeing's supply chain. We are seeking multiple experienced Procurement Agents to join Boeing’s Supply Chain & Operations Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) team.
This organization is responsible for the sourcing, procurement and contract management of all indirect goods and services across Boeing’s global enterprise and is critical to enabling company operations. Indirect categories of spend include: Information Technology (e.g. Software, Infrastructure), Factory Production Support (e.g. Capital Equipment, Tooling, Automation, Consumables), Construction and Facilities Services, Logistics & Freight, Employee Services, Financial Services, and Labor/Training Services. The primary responsibilities of this position include: • Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies. • Assess suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions • Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management • Analyze external market and internal demand • Monitor and manage supplier performance by: o Identifying root cause and recovery plans o Managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance o Initiating supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies • Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity • Contribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards

5 or more years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or strategic sourcing practices and processes
3 or more years of experience managing the procurement process including coordinating with business partners and providing functional support
3 or more years of experience modifying contract terms with legal assistance
3 or more years of experience leading some negotiations with standard terms and conditions (including payment terms)
Experience supporting a lead negotiator for complex contracts
Experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
Bachelors or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business or other related studies
Communication skills (written and verbal) with customer focus
Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
Ability to identify and integrate opportunities to leverage/improve in contracting strategies
Ability to be self-directed in work and/or prior experience in a self-directed role
Strong business acumen and adept problem solving ability
Strong leadership skills and ability to build positive working relationships
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations with people at all levels
