Performs plumbing related duties requiring basic professional skills and technical knowledge. Maintains and repairs campus building domestic water, waste water, steam, fire protection and laboratory specialty systems. Ensures shop work is performed in compliance with applicable safety and code regulations. Subject to unscheduled and callback hours as needed. JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, RENOVATION AND CONSTRUCTION: Performs maintenance, repair, renovation and construction of campus building domestic water, waste water, steam, fire protection and other plumbing related specialty systems such as vacuum, compressed air and gas.
20% - Essential - PLUMBING MANAGEMENT: Repairs blockages in all types of plumbing fixtures and building drains. Will be placed on weekend plumbing callback list.
20% - Essential - GENERAL MAINTENANCE Performs electrical, HVAC and building maintenance.
5% - Essential - HIGH AND LOW PRESSURE STEAM MAINTNEANCE: Maintains and repairs high and low pressure steam traps, regulators and valves.
5% - Essential - SAFETY Maintains a safe and clean work area. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
