This position is part of an expert group that provides support for BASF Corporation sites in North America. It includes leading regionally and participating globally in the application of maintenance expertise for large heavy duty and critical rotating equipment resulting in increases in performance, plant optimization, and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all North America plans, and be a collaborative leader and contributor toward the alignment of global support, including the transfer of maintenance experience into the engineering phase.
The job scope includes Heavy Rotating Equipment, Chemical processing equipment, and electrical distribution. You will service the technical support needs for linked regional sites with responsibility for providing project management in assigned plants to assure proper design, procurement, and construction of capital and expense projects, usually <$15M, per regulatory and BASF standards.
