TimHaahs is currently seeking a highly skilled engineering professional (PE) for the role of Project Manager in our New Brunswick, NJ office.
TimHaahs provides comprehensive planning, architectural design, and structural engineering services for mixed-use and parking related projects. Our extensive in-house expertise gives our clients a single source of responsibility to meet their planning, design and engineering needs from the conceptual stages of a project, through construction administration. The ideal Project Manager is comfortable with delivering on large-scale and complex projects, has a knack for excellent client service, and enjoys mentoring junior staff to fulfill their professional growth.

+ Managing all phases of projects from project set-up through design and into construction administration
+ Preparation of proposals and project interview presentations.
+ Contract negotiation/management
+ Providing functional layout/design consultation
+ Coordination of project scope & schedule of deliverables
+ Chairing project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
+ Monitoring project profitability (plan & track hours, review project financial information with accounting, monitor accounts receivable, etc.)
+ Coordination of all required disciplines and managing sub-consultants.
+ Construction administration functions
+ Building and maintaining client relationship
+ Managing & mentoring junior level staff members

+ 7 or more years of Structural Engineering experience
+ At least some prior Project Management experience (from design through construction admin)
+ Experience with commercial mixed use structures a big plus
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering
+ Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
+ Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
+ Comfortable working in an independent setting
+ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
+ Ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
+ Desire to mentor and encourage junior employees
