Project Manager Facilities manages construction projects. Responsible for the clinical oversight of planning and design for new UCHealth inpatient and ambulatory facilities. Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience in an ambulatory or inpatient environment.
Participates in planning and design for new UCHealth facilities. Collaboration with medical equipment planner, IT project manager, architect and other external consultants. Acts as liaison between clinical and ancillary hospital teams and design teams.
Supervises design and construction of concurrent construction and renovation projects. Tracks project schedules and budgets.
Participates in decisions on contract negotiations and manages contracts with architect/engineer team, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Maintains policies regarding sole source and competitive bidding.
Processes invoices, related scope modifications and change orders.
Provides updates on construction activity and financial status of capital projects. Adheres to financial goals. Participates in long-range planning activities, project development, review and approval of construction documents. Ensures compliance with regulations and building codes related to hospitals and other facilities.
