SKB Architecture and Design (www.skbarch.com) is looking for talented and motivated professionals to join its team in both the Washington DC and Silicon Valley offices.
SKB designs high quality, thoughtful and intellectually stimulating projects for corporations, law firms and advocacy groups. SKB's major clients include Google, Bloomberg and many of the top 100 law firms in the country. SKB's projects are located primarily in both the mid-Atlantic region in the east and the Bay Area of northern California, although the firm has worked all around the US in the past and has designed numerous overseas projects.
The immediate need is for senior interior architects to participate in the programming, designing, documentation and construction administration of new projects in the law firm and technology sectors. Candidates would be working in small teams in a charrette-type of collaborative environment led by partners and principals of the firm.
SKB has a well-earned reputation for designing exceptional projects and creating outstanding construction documents in a well-managed process that keeps the teams focusing their energy on creativity and professional skill. There are many opportunities for professional growth within the firm.
Candidates must possess a professional degree from either an NCIDQ or NAAB certified school, between 5-10 years' experience in commercial architecture or interior architecture and a strong working knowledge of Revit.
