Student Accessibility Services seeks an Assistant Director for Testing Services who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations of Testing Services. This includes supervising two part-time Testing Specialists. The Assistant Director will maintain the security and integrity of the Testing Center; ensure that all records are kept up to date; regularly provide data analysis reports; ensure that all technology is in working order; problem solve with students and faculty to resolve testing issues; prepare and maintain a budget; and proctor, read, and scribe for students as needed.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring a comparable level of responsibility, preferably in a higher education setting. Strong candidates will be able to supervise others and also demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; an ability to quickly establish rapport with students, faculty, and staff; excellent organizational skills and ability to accurately maintain detailed records; ability to oversee others and provide constructive feedback; strong problem solving skills and ability to quickly resolve issues and conflicts; a high degree of integrity; technical skills including fluent use of Word, Excel, and other relevant software; the ability to quickly learn how to use assistive technology; and the ability to analyze data and prepare summative reports.
