We are seeking a professional like you to join the Midwest Hub Procurement team to serve as the primary contact for Internal Business Partners (IBP) and the Site Account Manager for multiple manufacturing sites, performing all aspects of procurement for construction, maintenance, manufacturing, engineering and facility services.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Industrial Manufacturing or a related field, you will perform all aspects of procurement for construction, maintenance, engineering and facility services for assigned sites.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will frequently interact with site leadership and the IBPs to help you better understand business needs and drive joint target setting of Site Account Plans and Site Activity Plans.
Your ability to build relationships will be a valued asset to produce alignment with the production, engineering and maintenance groups.
Your strong business acumen will enable you to generate savings and create value, successfully manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and develop impactful business KPIs with selected suppliers.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide support to the Category Buyers and Managers (CBs and CMs) on market conditions and supplier sourcing. You will drive the successful development and implementation of local category strategies and small CAPEX projects.
Your solid knowledge of local regulations will enable you to serve as the contact for local compliance issues, ensuring compliance and contractual terms are protecting BASF.
This role includes up to 25% travel in the U.S. and Canada
