Summary of Position: This position will be the primary person responsible for coordination of laboratory services, including supplies, maintenance, and personnel in the Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center for both the Duluth and Twin Cities campuses. Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 hours days.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 50% Customer service support for the Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center -First responder to student and faculty requests for assistance with supplies and learning center equipment. Includes printer maintenance for the student computer facilities and submitting work requests as needed for computer equipment. -Provide and maintain adequate materials, supplies, and equipment for use in the learning center instruction. This will include managing inventories of supplies such as medical devices, alcohol, and lotion; reconciling financials including purchase card processing; and assisting with donation processing. -Design, construct, and maintain the learning areas for use in specific simulations, activities, or workshops. This includes maintaining classroom technology (tablets, interactive white boards, video capture system) and lab equipment for classroom use, and cleaning the Twin Cities lab space regularly. -Serves as a liaison with the College of Pharmacy facilities manager to provide logistical support to ensure a quality presentation of the physical space, equipment and furnishings in the Learning Center. -Provide service support to Experiential Education Office as requested.
50% Administrative support for the Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center -Coordinate events to facilitate learning center courses including teaching assistant orientation and course assessments. -Provide administrative/clerical support to the courses taught in the Learning Center including the coordination of communications with the students, arrangements for class materials, maintenance of records and schedules, updating the courses web sites and web based materials. -Assist the course directors with the coordination of work done by 20 to 25 teaching assistants including scheduling, keeping training records, orientation to office equipment and Learning Center procedures, assisting with technology issues, and overseeing the administrative duties assigned to the teaching assistants. -Work with organizations and Interprofessional Education and Resource Center (IERC) to build a network or process for use of simulated patients to work with students in the Learning Center. -Provide administrative/clerical support to the PCLC teaching team as needed, including meeting minutes, budget reports, travel and expense reports, etc.
Hourly Salary Range: $15.69 to $22.49 USD/hour

Required Qualifications: -High school diploma/GED and two years operations and/or student support experience. Training/education may substitute for some of the experience.
