Contract - Entry Level
We seek to hire an Architectural Intern with 1+ years’ work experience and a minimum of 2 years of architecture schooling available to start immediately on a part time basis (10-20 hours per week). Strong Revit skills are an absolute requirement. Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
Tangible responsibilities include: preparing project presentations, drafting permit and construction document sets, aiding in management of ongoing project correspondence, site visits and construction management as applicable.
Intangible responsibilities include: communicating respectfully and frequently with team members and consultants, establishing and maintaining a high quality of work, fostering strong client relationships, striving to increase knowledge and skills on a daily basis.
Pre-requisites Include: drafting experience in Revit, basic knowledge of sustainable design principles, solid self-motivation, capable of meeting deadlines without micromanagement, strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral), efficient work ethic, eagerness to learn.
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION. You will be required to report to the Principal architect, based in Moab, Utah via Webex or a similar web hosting platform on a regular basis. Periodic in person meetings will be schedule depending on availability and location. A mutually agreed schedule will be established on a project to project basis.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Base rate to be negotiated based on experience. Ample opportunity for position growth and wage increases.
