JOB SUMMARY This position is the face of our application team to the client, working directly with the client and interacting with the remote IT team with little to no direct supervision. This position is responsible to solicit and gather requirements for software application functional enhancement, as well as work directly with development teams to design and solve technology solutions to these business requirements. Additionally, this role is responsible for implementing customizations and configurations to the client system, ensuring requests for change are handled expediently, working with remote team members if needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and document requirements from clients and users. Comprehend business strategies and requirements and develop necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs. Lead solution design sessions with development and provide solution design documentation and status to clients and management. Deliver customization and configuration of client application to meet client needs and in response to client requests. Update data in client application or create custom reports of client data including verification of data accuracy. Lead projects and programs on behalf of client as directed and ensure client satisfaction. Designs new application enhancements and features by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities and writing specifications. Collaborate with management and team to develop budgets and timelines for solutions. Provides client support for application, logging and tracking work tickets. Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing support; training users. Maintains and improves system protocols and controls by writing and updating procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Strong experience with software used for lease administration, property management, space management and/or facilities management. Strong understanding of database technologies, agile application development SDLC and systems integrations. Experience with MS SQL, Java development, SQL development and reporting Ability to interact and communicate with various technology roles including development, support, product management, systems administration. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide both formal and informal assistance such as functional guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
