Inventure Design is looking for a highly-motivated self-starter to lead our firm’s office in Nashville, TN. We are a technology-driven architectural design firm based in Houston, Texas, specializing in corporate and healthcare design, with offices in Tulsa, Dallas, and Nashville.

The ideal candidate for the role is entrepreneurial and able to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects and has strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills. They should be from Nashville or have returned to Nashville as we expect them to “know people” in Nashville. Experience in the Healthcare industry would be a plus.
Business Development activities such as networking events and professional organizations
Develop and maintain client relationships, discover and follow up on project leads, general networking in the Nashville commercial real estate and design community
Apply space planning and test fit planning skills, coordinating interior material finish selections, editing master specification sections, furniture plans and specifications, and lighting specifications
Develop 3-D design concepts from schematic design through construction documents
Meet with clients to gather project information (surveys, interviews, data collection, etc.)
Produce and present design concepts to team members and clients
Coordinate with project consultants
Ensure satisfactory solutions that meet design aspirations, quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements
Experience with entire project life cycle, through post-occupancy
Communicate effectively with team members in-person and through technology
Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
7-10 years experience in interior architecture/design
NCIDQ certified or licensed Architect
Membership in corporate real estate associations (CoreNet, NAIOP, etc.) is a plus
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
Ability to work independently
Proficiency in REVIT/AutoCAD, Sketchup, ArchiCAD
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to clearly communicate design ideas through freehand sketching and rendering
