Summary: The Director ofConstruction is accountable for the development and execution of the MedicalCenters strategies in the areas of construction/renovation project planning,commissioning and transitional planning. The leader will act as resource toensure construction/renovation projects are planned and delivered effectivelyand efficiently. The Director of Facility Planning will demonstratea commitment to Cook Children's Healthcare Systems operating values andintegrate them into each job function by always employing effective processesand education of staff. The leader of this area should: Live quality whileimproving efficiency Challenge the status quo by allowing innovation to beintegrated into daily work. Think creatively, plan analytically and then actdecisively. Demonstrate adherence to the corporate compliance program. Thisposition has a strong understanding of TDSHS, City of Ft. Worth codes, ADA andconstruction standards.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree inBusiness Management/Administration/Construction Management and 5 yearsexperience managing construction projects in a healthcare setting.
5 yearsexperience in a leadership position, preferably in a children's hospital orpediatric setting
