Art Display Co. is an award-winning, family owned sign company located just outside of Washington, DC specializing in custom signage and specialty architectural projects. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced project manager to join the family. Ideal candidate must be ready to take on challenges and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Manage all projects from beginning phases through installation, including:
· Submitting work orders, change orders, etc.
· Following-up on submittals to ensure timely turnaround
· Archiving project related documents and a keeping detailed job history
· Fostering relationships with the clientele and maintaining turnaround expectations
· Attending site visits and meetings, as required
· Performing preliminary surveys, as required
· Working with outside vendors and subcontractors
· Reviewing construction drawings and identifying sign types, quantities and specs (completing take-offs)
· Evaluating and revising project schedules in conjunction with individual project, manufacturing and installation requirements
· Closing out projects and invoicing
· Project management experience
· Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written
· Ability to understand construction/architectural drawings
· Proficient in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
· Familiar with AIA projects and billing procedures
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
