Immediate need for an Outside Sales Engineer in the Metro Atlanta, GA territory for a leading manufacturer's representative of water and wastewater pumping equipment for the municipal market.
Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer:
Promote, sell, provide design assistance and coordinate service of water and wastewater municipal pumps and equipment
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
Analyze applications and provide product recommendations to municipalities, industries, architects, engineers, and contractors.
Compare product capabilities with expected application requirements. Size and select pumps, blowers, and water treatment plant equipment.
Generate quotes to single or multiple bidders.
Prepare technical product submittals.
Manage projects from inception through submittal stage, construction, startup, and operations
Requirements for the Sales Engineer
Bachelor of Science degree preferred (Additional preference in Engineering)
Must have at least five (5) years of technical outside sales experience and/or engineering experience in water/wastewater
Experience with water processing equipment or rotating machinery (compressors, pump, blowers) or controls & instrumentation strongly preferred
