Consulting and supporting all physical security and technology-based projects and proposals.
Be well-versed in coordinating and executing specifications, drawings and quotations for all types of physical security and technology-based projects.
Ensure that all security construction and installation is carried out in accordance with industry best practice and company approved standards.
Maintain oversight and lead all projects and provide accurate and timely project status reports.
Foster new relationships and partnerships that will continue the growth, advancement and success of the overall security program.
Responsible for the day to day administration, improvement and maintenance of the following core systems across the global security enterprise:
Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Access control systems Integrated security systems
Oversee and drive all technological and process changes as they pertain to the company's global security mission, design standards and strategy.
Respond to emergency security situations as part of a general security response or during crisis management activities 24 hours a day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Security operations at approximately 60 client sites across the North America, South America and Europe.
Monitor and refine security processes for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
Identify technological security advances and challenges across markets and drive sustainable enhancements to the company's physical security technology processes.
Conduct client directed Security audits.
Acquire subject matter expertise on the company's design standards; you will identify change requirements and update these standards as necessary; you will track changes and coordinate effective release of updated physical security technology related standards to relevant departments.
Manage physical security technology compliance across the entire company's footprint as mandated by company compliance standards.
Liaise with local field teams on the service and installation of access control, closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems as required.
Develop and manage partners and integrators in the area of Master Service Agreements, Preventative Maintenance Agreements and Annual Service and Support Contracts.
Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot designated systems and perform repairs as necessary.
Assist in the development of physical security technology training programs for employees (including emergency procedures).
Prepare documentation in approved written and electronic formats for the purpose of documenting compliance and conveying information.
Attend meetings, workshops, training, trade-shows, and seminars for the purpose of assimilating the latest physical security technology information to keep the company in line with industry best practices.
Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
Manages security staff, assigns and monitors work assignments, and ensures training in life safety, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, first aid, central control panel, and local and national regulations are provided. Also, ensures security certifications maintained.
Oversees the control of access to buildings and monitors activities of visitors. Also, oversees the monitoring of building operations and tours of properties.
Maintains on-going communications with Property Manager, Building Operations Manager, and other building services related staff regarding site operations.
Provides leadership for emergency response at the property or site.
Develops site-specific policies and procedures for the security and life safety manual. Communicates with client representative about any security issues that arise.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
7+ years of experience in security operations in a corporate environment preferred.
4-6 years prior security or law enforcement related experience with proven leadership ability.
Prior experience as shift leader, supervisor and security manager preferred.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses) preferred.
Ability to liaise in a professional manner with CBRE patrons, executives, and external safety and security organizations preferred.
Experience operating the following systems preferred:
Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Access control systems Integrated security systems
Lenel Prowatch Access Control system (enterprise level) Helpdesk applications and service management software

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an advanced knowledge of Word Processing software; Excel spreadsheet software and Internet software. Ability to walk/stand 8 hours per day, operate an extinguisher, lift 50 pounds, and effectively transport and adult in an evacuation chair or similar transportation equipment.
