The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Project Manager, Construction.
The incumbent will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Construction and be responsible for the oversight and management for assigned capital projects of advanced scope, including new building and renovation projects. The Project Manager provides expertise as it pertains to construction management, design, scope of work, and cost estimations. For all construction projects, the Project Manager determines user needs, defines the scope of professional services, manages the development of construction drawings and specifications, coordinates field work and contractor activities, develops contracts, prepares budgets and scope of work, sources all necessary resources, and ensures quality and execution of all projects. The Project Manager must maintain a working knowledge of compliance and standards, and make recommendations for enhancements to the project management process.
