An on the job training program, where you will learn everything you need to know to become a well rounded Journeyman roofer, while you earn a great family wage.
Our program consists of 5,000 OTJ training hours and 288 hours of classroom instruction.
At the completion of our program, you will will receive a certificate of completion and a Journeyman card issued by the State.
What to Expect?
After application is made you will be directed to the Union to make application with the bussiness agent, followed by drug screening. When the results of the test come back negative, you will be sent out to work, the process typically takes just a couple days. From there you will start your career, learning while you're earning.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a drug screening test
Must have a minimum of a 10th grade education
Must be able to perform the physical duties of the job
Must posses a valid driver's license in the State of Washington
Additional Salary Information: Every 1,000 hours apprentices are eligible for a pay rate increase, between 2 and 3 dollars
Our Program is a 5,000 hour on the job training program. we have 100 apprentices in our program. Our apprentices report OJT to the director of Apprenticeship. Raises occur every 1,000 hours with medical, dental, and vision benefits beginning at 500 hours.
