Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
·High School diploma required; a technical degree or advanced technical training is strongly preferred.
·A minimum of 3 years of previous hands-on maintenance and site management experience.
·At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance-related activities, including electrical, plumbing, general repair, and exterior maintenance.
·Ability to understand and develop specifications, and prepare external and/or internally required documents.
·Certified/experienced in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
·A background in managing projects and contractors, including safety orientation, budgeting, job oversight and problem solving, developing and meeting timelines, as well as evaluation and follow up.
·Ability to work individually with limited or no supervision.
·Versatile interpersonal and communication skills across all levels within the organization, as well as outside vendors and contractors.
·An organized and proactive self-starter who displays self-motivation and direction.
·Capability to work after-hours in the event of an emergency.
·Comfort with responsibility for all aspects of facility maintenance and as the first point of contact with building issues.
·Maintain and display excellent safety and housekeeping habits.
