Huitt-Zollars, Inc. has an immediate full-time opportunity for an Architecture Manager in the Fort Worth, TX office. Candidate must be a registered architect in the state of Texas, have a minimum of 12 years of architectural experience in all phases of commercial construction projects and demonstrated building construction technical experience. This role reports to the VP/Fort Worth Office Manager and oversees the architectural design team.
Lead Fort Worth architectural design team in construction projects Work in all project phases from programming through project closeout Staff design team and supervise architectural interns and drafters Foster multi-disciplinary team coordination Work with project team in the design and development of projects Manage production, meetings schedules and budgets Interface with clients and network for further business development Ensure project architecture quality complies with company ISO 9001 Quality Management System Assists principals in project management, scheduling Assists principals in business development efforts to win new projects
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
Registered Texas Architect with the ability to become registered in other states
Minimum 12 years in profession as an Architect
Demonstrated building construction technical experience
Proficient in REVIT, MS: Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong design sense
Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Ability to lead and coordinate consultant teams
Ability to interact with owners and user groups
Strong organizational and leadership skills
