Roger Williams University's School of Engineering, Computing, and Construction Management (SECCM) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach introductory computer science laboratories. The responsibilities include lab instruction, aiding students in the construction and testing of basic programs and the assessment of student work guided by the course coordinator. The primary language for the laboratory is Java.
The qualified applicant will hold at least a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred. The applicant should possess experience with programming, debugging, as well as patience as many in the course may have never programmed prior to the class. Availability to teach a laboratory within the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. is preferred but not a requirement of this position.
