Full-time Tenure Track in Costume Design beginning August 10, 2019. Duties include but not limited to teaching design and technical theatre classes, makeup, advanced makeup, basic sewing for stagecraft class, supervising shop manager and student workers, designing costumes as needed, academic advising and mentoring of students in their production and design work.
MFA in Costume Design or an MFA in Design with an emphasis on Costume Design. Proven experience in undergraduate teaching, costume construction, including period construction, makeup, wig/hair and wardrobe.
Preference given to candidates with additional expertise in other areas of design; experience designing for dance desired; knowledge of online course delivery desired.
