The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other campus departments. They will meet with Contacts, review projects, assist with finish choices, review estimates, review blueprints, plan work, prepare contract work authorizations, estimate changes and additions to projects, determine schedule impact, and attend project status meetings. Must be able to show initiate to work on projects on their own with minimal supervision and possess the ability to ask supervision for direction when needed. They will assist with supervising outside Contractors for the completion of assigned projects. Upon work completion they will inspect work, determine acceptability of contract work, assure that the scope of work is accomplished, verify that project is code compliant, assure that the customer is satisfied with the project completion, and complete work within estimated budget.
